Welcome to the

Brooklyn Bridge Rotary Club

President's Message

Let me introduce you to the Brooklyn Bridge Rotary Club, a vibrant, diverse, and active group of Brooklynites ages 30 to 80 who love to give back to their community.
Many of our service projects focus on food insecurity; we make sandwiches and cookies for food pantries five times a year, and serve meals at soup kitchens and community events.
Our club has hosted 5 children from Haiti and Argentina for life-saving open heart surgery through the Gift of Life. We also hosted an exchange high school student from Japan, and are involved with friendship exchanges with Rotary Clubs around the globe. Rotarians visiting New York often attend our meetings, adding an international flavor.
Fellowship and networking are also important aspects of our club experience. Our fellowship outings (bowling, local walking tours, trivia night) take place every 3-4 times a year.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month for dinner and a speaker, and hope you’ll attend one soon and see if we are a good fit for you.
Celia Weibtrob, President 2025-2026

" I joined Rotaract after college to be able to participate in volunteer activities throughout the city. After this, I joined the Rotary club, I did it for the same reasons, also wanting to get to know other fellow New Yorkers, and participate in opportunities different than those I had a few years prior with Rotaract." — Nick C.
