Community Outreach Projects

CHIPS Holiday Project

Our club chose CHIPS Soup Kitchen & Women’s Shelter to partner with for our holiday project this year. We dropped off 9 sacks of coats and clothing on Christmas Eve just in time for Christmas morning. We also donated 150 pairs of mens socks on Thanksgiving to give out with their hot meals. Thank you to everyone that donated and participated in this appeal.

Pop Up Food Pantry - Red Hook

We did it again! Second year in a row! Our club distributed 200 bags and boxes of food at Coffey Park in Red Hook, Brooklyn, thanks to donations from The Campaign Against Hunger and The Met Council. And special thanks to Green Sky Bookkeeping, Inc., Brooklyn Heights Real Estate Inc and Strategies for Wealth for their sponsorships to pay for the Uhaul and volunteer supplies. And to the Red Hook Star-Revue for helping us store some items and Red Hook Community Justice Center for lending us a helping hand on the day of and spreading the word. We are overjoyed to have also been able to drop food off at 4 community fridges and CHiPS Soup Kitchen & Women's Shelter. What a collaboration! Here are some photos and videos of the full effort. Thank you to the Rotarians that took time out of their days/nights to help make this happen! We are nothing without your help.
